Kaloud Samsaris Kore Ceramic Bowl

The Kaloud Samsaris Kore is a ceramic phunnel bowl with a grommet built into the base. It fits most standard hookahs and works with every Kaloud heat management device.

This is the flexible one in the Samsaris range. The Vitria and Lapis bowls are each cut for a specific Lotus generation. The Kore is not. It takes any Kaloud HMD and it drops onto almost any hookah, which makes it the bowl to own if your setup changes or if you run more than one pipe.

The built in grommet

Most bowls need a separate rubber grommet, and most people lose theirs. The Kore has one moulded into the base. It seats securely on the stem straight out of the box, and there is nothing to perish, split, or go missing behind a cupboard.

Ceramic, and what that means

Ceramic holds heat rather than moving it. The bowl takes a few minutes longer to come up than glass does, and then it stays where it lands. That steadiness is what you want on a long session where you would rather not keep adjusting coals.

It also suits every kind of shisha. Blonde leaf, dark leaf, dense cut. The Kore is not tuned for one style the way a high heat bowl is.

Packing it

Fluff pack. Break the shisha apart with your fingers and drop it in loosely to just under the rim, then level it without pressing. Leave a few millimetres of clearance so expanding tobacco does not touch the device above it.

Give it a little longer to heat than you would a glass bowl. That is the material behaving normally.

Care

Let it cool completely before washing, then warm water and a soft brush. Never run cold water over a hot ceramic bowl. Thermal shock is what cracks ceramic, not rough handling.
